Change Order Tree Actions

A tree view is provided along the left window side of the Change Order Detail record window that displays links to all information relevant to the Change Order record. The tree provides quick access to records attached to the Change Order record and is a visual representation of which workflow step the record is currently on.

Tree Link Description

Change Requests

The Change Requests link is used to view all change requests addressed by the change order. Change requests can be attached to the change order from this location, or they can be attached from the Change Request window.

Attachments

The Attachments link is used to attach any number of external attachments to the Change Order record. Files can be attached to the change order until the change order is closed.

Proposed Changes

The Proposed Changes link is used to enter change tasks only if Proposed Change Approval is required; otherwise, the changes are added in the Changes link. From this folder the change owner can also assign documents slated for change, instructions for the changes needed, and identify who within the organization should complete the changes. Once proposed changes are added, they, must be approved in order to be completed. Approved proposed changes transfer automatically to the Changes link in the change order tree.

Changes

The Changes link is used to enter change tasks only if proposed change approval is not required. From this folder, the change owner can assign documents slated for change, instructions for the changes needed, and identify who within the organization should complete the changes. Once changes are added, the change owner must route the changes for completion.

Notes

The Notes link is used to add activities in order to track additional information regarding the change order.

Amendments

The Amendments link is used to keep track of any time the effective or expiration dates are modified in the Change Order record.
